The Orangery has been created out of two old greenhouses, one that exclusively grew violets for Lady Margaret McCausland, the present owners grandmother, the other was the tomato house.  The current design tries to make the most of the light and views over The Walled Garden.  On warm sunny days there is outdoor seating where you will be able to savour the colours of the plants, the buzzing of the bees, the birds singing and the delicate scents of herbs, flowers and cut grass.

We offer simple but delicious refreshments 7 days a week from 9am to 4pm. We offer a range of scones, sandwiches, salads, homemade soup and daily hot food specials. You can choose from a range of mouth watering traybakes including homemade delicacies and desserts. We also cater for all allergies and have an extensive selection of gluten free options.

There is also a selection of cold drinks, locally produced beers and ciders, and a short but select wine list.
